CERTIFIED LEGAL NURSE CONSULTANTS

Med Legal is continually adding to our elite team of remote Legal Nurse Consultants to support our growth. We require our LNCs to have been clinically active for at least 10 years and have a minimum of 3 years report writing experience as a certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability experience from both the plaintiff and defense perspective is preferred. We at Med Legal are big communicators. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to your success as a subcontractor with our company. Intermediate computer skills are also necessary for good workflow. CERTIFIED LIFE CARE PLANNERS

Med Legal has opportunities for both experienced Certified Life Care Planners and Certified Life Care Planners looking for an opportunity to gain experience. Open positions are available to subcontract on cases that include Cost Projection and Medical Billing Audit work under our Life Care Planning Department umbrella. BILLING CODERS

Med Legal has opportunities for medical billing coders with auditing experience. The ideal candidate for this subcontracting position has a minimum of 5 years coding experience and must be able to work remotely from home office. Experience auditing medical bills for proper coding and experience with determining usual and customary charges is highly preferred, and analytical capabilities are a must. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to your success with our company. Intermediate computer skills are also necessary for good workflow. COPY EDITORS

Med Legal is seeking an experienced detail-oriented copy editor. This is a responsible position that acts as the final quality check in our proprietary process of medical record review. The Editor reviews final documents for each case based on pre-established criteria, content, and format. This position requires critical thinking skills to continually improve the final product and editing process. This is a telecommuting position, can be performed in your home office, and can easily accommodate an academic schedule or another part-time job.
